Inductive Targets

Targets electronically mark moving parts, and allow their position to be sensed with resonant inductive technology.  They are inductively coupled to a sensor, so that no electrical or mechanical contact is required.

target used with linear and rotary sensors
Inside targets there is an inductor connected to a capacitor, forming a resonant circuit.

Standard Target

CambridgeIC's standard target may be used with most sensors, rotary or linear.  Its inductor is formed by a coil wound around a ferrite rod, for high Q-factor and a precisely shaped near field.
