News

It’s nearly 10 years since CambridgeIC's inductive position sensing solution was launched in a customer product.

We now have millions of position sensors in the field, but the reported failure rate for our hardware has been zero. 0. Nothing.

This is an inbuilt advantage of a product that is built from standard electronic parts with no specialist transducer element or manufacturing process, where there’s nothing to wear out, and we’ve touched on the price advantage this gives in this post here.

But with millions of trouble free sensor years under our belt we can demonstrate that its about more than just the cost saved through reducing enclosures; where reliability is key we have a strong story to tell.
